PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: New State is currently accepting pre-registrations on the Google Play Store for Android gamers along with Apple’s App Store for iOS users.

PUBG: New State pre-registrations are now LIVE!

Announced by PUBG: New State’s developer Krafton, the news brings relief to many gamers who have been waiting for the latest iteration of PUBG to grace their mobile screens after the highly cherished original version of the game was banned in India last September by the government citing security concerns.

Since then, PUBG developer Krafton has been working to set a comeback date for the latest spin on the game. The latest iteration of PUBG was announced in February by Krafton but pre-registrations for Indians opened only today.

After launching Battlegrounds Mobile India earlier, Indian gamers can now be at par with global gamers in pre-registering for PUBG: New State. According to Krafton, PUBG: New State will appear as a free game on both Android and iOS this year.

Even then, a launch date has not been decided yet. Since opening for pre-registrations in different parts of the world starting February, PUBG: New State has seen an impressive 32 million pre-registrations. These did not account for gamers from India, China, and Vietnam… until now.
